The path you sould follow isn't clear so my recomendations are:
first go to the right, where the slimes are, these are the weakest enemies. Beat them several times unitll you are upgraded enough to fight the dog and the skeleton (top left and just above the slimes), do the same with those untill you can fight the scorpion (top left corner) and the demon (bottom right corner) I remind you that you can walk towards the top of the room and enter the door to fight the weak enemies again.

Bird(0 no reward) Slimes (1&2) Dog(3) Skeleton(4) Scorpion(4) Demon(5)
In this game you fight the same room several times, but think wisely, there are monsters that you won't be able to besat yet, fight the ones you can, and sool you'll see yourself fighting everything as if they where ants, enjoy!

Install instructions
Install the .rar or .zip, is not necessary to uncompress it, and open the cycles.exe. Don't touch the other files or you'll break the project.

After learning how the door mechanic worked, I enjoyed this game. The sense of progression from being defeated in one hit to overpowering enemies was nice. I tried out both characters. The small variety they both added to the game was nice. I know the game is “endless”, but it would be nice if there was a completion condition. I guess defeating the demon is the end goal?
My favorite part were learning each of the unexpected power ups. I actually found an exploit with the “rapid fire” power up (enter the door with the power up active). This allowed me to get a very small cooldown and do something like this:

This is a fun and spooky game. I like how the light fades towards the end of the screen, the artwork is good and that dog made me jump! Great game
